This policy establishes clear distinctions regarding the legal recognition, institutional accreditation, and academic partnerships of From the Seed to the Fruit (FS2F), in accordance with best practices recommended by faith-based accrediting associations, including the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), and similar religious education bodies.

FS2F affirms its commitment to institutional transparency, theological integrity, and accurate representation of its academic and legal standing.

1. Institutional Recognition and Legal Status

From the Seed to the Fruit (FS2F) is a faith-based religious educational institution located in Winter Garden, Florida, organized exclusively for religious and educational purposes.

FS2F has submitted its annual verification by sworn affidavit to the Florida Commission for Independent Education (CIE). The Commission accepted the affidavit as compliant with Section 1005.06(1)(f), Florida Statutes, which provides for the religious exemption of qualifying institutions from direct governmental oversight.

As confirmed in the official notification issued by the Commission, FS2F has met the requirements of Florida state law and is authorized to operate as a religious college, not subject to state licensure or regulation during the specified exemption period.
This status reflects legal recognition, not academic accreditation, and applies solely within the scope defined by Florida law for religious institutions.

2. Institutional Accreditation (Non-Governmental)

FS2F is institutionally accredited by the GENESIS Institute of Breakthrough Technologies, a nonprofit corporation headquartered in Silicon Valley, California.

This accreditation affirms FS2F’s alignment with institutional standards related to:

  • innovation in education and leadership development,

  • ethical integration of technology,

  • research-oriented learning environments,

  • organizational governance and mission coherence.

In alignment with ABHE principles of transparency, FS2F explicitly states that this accreditation does not represent regional, national, or governmental academic accreditation, unless otherwise stated by an authorized accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or CHEA.
The scope of this accreditation is institutional and mission-aligned, not regulatory.

3. Strategic Academic Partnerships and Dual Certification Pathways

FS2F maintains formal academic cooperation agreements with the following institutions in Brazil:

Both institutions are legally established under Brazilian law and are authorized to issue academic certificates recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC). Recognition by the MEC signifies compliance with Brazil’s national academic and regulatory standards.

Through these partnerships, FS2F participates in curriculum alignment, faculty collaboration, and structured academic pathways, including dual certification opportunities, when applicable.
Any certificates recognized by the MEC are issued exclusively under the authority of the Brazilian partner institutions, in accordance with Brazilian law. FS2F does not represent such certificates as U.S.-accredited degrees unless explicitly authorized and stated.

4. Faith-Based Educational Scope and Transparency

Consistent with the expectations of faith-based accrediting associations such as ABHE, FS2F clearly distinguishes between:

  • Legal recognition (authorization and religious exemption under state law),

  • Institutional accreditation (mission-aligned, non-governmental),

  • Academic partnerships (international cooperation and certification pathways).

FS2F affirms that all academic offerings, representations, and partnerships are communicated accurately and responsibly, ensuring that students clearly understand the nature, scope, and authority of each designation.

The institution remains committed to theological fidelity, academic responsibility, ethical leadership, and continuous improvement within the framework of religious higher education.
