Statement of Faith
From the Seed to the Fruit (FS2F) affirms its historic Christian faith, grounded in the Holy Scriptures, and recognizes the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in the Church today through miracles, signs, and wonders. Our faith guides both spiritual formation and academic development, preserving a healthy balance between revelation, maturity, and responsibility. We believe that the movement of the Holy Spirit must always be accompanied by a solid theological foundation, so that the truth revealed in the Word of God is not distorted.
The Scriptures
We believe that the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is inspired by God, true in all its teachings, and the final authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian practice. The Scriptures reveal the character of God, His redemptive plan in Christ, and provide guidance for a godly and fruitful life.
The Triune God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in essence, power, and glory. The Triune God acts in perfect unity in creation, redemption, and the restoration of all things, revealing His character, purpose, and love to humanity (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:13; John 1:1–3, 14; Colossians 1:15–20).
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a perfect and sufficient sacrifice for the sins of humanity, rose bodily on the third day, ascended into heaven, and now reigns at the right hand of the Father. We affirm that salvation, reconciliation with God, and eternal life are found only through Christ (Isaiah 7:14; John 1:1, 14; Hebrews 4:15; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11; Romans 8:34; John 14:6; Acts 4:12).
Salvation and New Life
We believe that salvation is by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, and not by human works; it is the free gift of God. This salvation produces repentance, spiritual regeneration, transformation of character, and initiates an ongoing process of sanctification, evidenced by a fruitful, obedient life aligned with the principles of the Kingdom of God (Ephesians 2:8–9; Titus 3:5; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 6:22; Galatians 5:22–23).
Healthy Prophetic Ministry
We believe that the prophetic gift remains active in the Church as an instrument of edification, exhortation, and consolation, as taught by the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 14. We understand that every prophetic expression must:
– be fully submitted to the authority of Scripture;
– reflect the character of Christ and glorify God;
– edify the Church, fostering spiritual maturity, encouragement, and hope;
– be discerned and evaluated within the community of faith, with responsibility and order;
– be exercised in a clear, intelligible, and edifying manner, avoiding confusion or personal exaltation;
– never replace the Word of God, spiritual leadership, or individual responsibility;
– be practiced in the light of love, which is the foundation and boundary of all spiritual manifestations.
We reject prophetic practices that are manipulative, sensationalistic, or disorderly, that do not promote edification, do not produce the fruit of maturity, and are not aligned with Christian truth and ethics, for God is not a God of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33).
The Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all who have been reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, and is called to live in fellowship, service, discipleship, and mission. The Church exists to glorify God, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, and manifest the Kingdom of God in society through love, justice, and truth, reflecting the character of Christ to the world (1 Corinthians 12:27; Ephesians 4:11–16; Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 2:42–47; Matthew 5:16).
Christian Life and Ethics
We believe that every Christian is called to live a life of integrity, holiness, humility, and responsibility, reflecting the character of Christ in every area of life. Authentic Christian faith must produce visible fruit, expressed through love, justice, mercy, and a commitment to truth, as evidence of a life transformed by the Gospel (Matthew 5:16; Galatians 2:20; Galatians 5:22–23; Micah 6:8; James 2:17).
